Today was...

Well today I went on this “mystery tour” which was erm how do i put it… different :) to start with i had to be at college for 9. we got on the mini bus and we were off. At this point we had no idea where we were going so we were all a bit cluess to what lay ahead. we got to the first stop which turned out to be a rusty house?? about 5m X 10m  which was no taller than 2m. this was a bit pathetic for 17 people to take photos of so it lasted well not very long. next up was some buisness park in Portsmouth which again was not to spectacular as it was situated next to a sewage plant, which didn’t smell to fresh =/ got some good photos tho as there was a beach littered with old rusted shacks and boats.

Next up was sainsburys (highllight of the trip) got lunch

then into portsmouth center to southsea to have a gander at the walls to take some photographs. at this point i was very tired and not in the best of moods as it was cold windy and wet.

but im glad to be at home. although i am missing her quite a bit :(

i supose its not all bad, only have to wait til saturday… its amazing how much you can miss a person in just a few minutes/days.

they mean alot to me :)

Thats all for now

Boy it's late! This is what keeps me going... Flying.

“Daddy, the plane turned into a boat.” — Sophia Sosa, a 4-year-old traveling with her family on US Airways flight 1549, after the A320 was forced to ditch into the Hudson River.

“When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.

” The natural function of the wing is to soar upwards and carry that which is heavy up to the place where dwells the race of gods. More than any other thing that pertains to the body it partakes of the nature of the divine. — Plato, ‘Phaedrus.’

Man must rise above the Earth—to the top of the atmosphere and beyond—for only thus will he fully understand the world in which he lives. — Socrates

Sometimes, flying feels too godlike to be attained by man. Sometimes, the world from above seems too beautiful, too wonderful, too distant for human eyes to see … — Charles A. Lindbergh, ‘The Spirit of St. Louis,’ 1953.’

To be able to rise from the earth; to be able, from a station in outer space, to see the relationship of the planet earth to other planets; to be able to contemplate the billions of factors in precise and beautiful combination that make human existence possible; to be able to dwell on an encounter of the human brain and spirit with the universe— all this enlarges the human horizon … — Norman Cousins, 1973.
